Welcome local HR Professionals. You are invited to visit and join our chapter.

2017 WCASHRM Board.

The West Central Arkansas Society for Human Resource Management (WCASHRM) association was organized in 1987 to encourage the exchange of ideas in human resource (HR) management and to promote the growth and development of sound human resource practices in business and the community.

“Members of WCASHRM are local professionals who are involved in the management, administration, development or study of human resources,” says chapter President, Deanna Harris. "Our membership area consists of Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, Malvern, Arkadelphia, Glenwood, Benton, and the surrounding areas."

The primary purpose of WCASHRM is to be a recognized leader in human resource management by providing high quality, dynamic and responsible programs and services to its’ members; actively supporting or opposing legislation or other matters based upon employer needs and professional goals; and establishing relationships within the community that will make a positive impact and contribution to the quality of life for the community.

WCASHRM is the local affiliated chapter of the national Society of Human Resource Management organization, the world’s largest association devoted to HR management. SHRM’s mission is to serve the needs of the HR professional and advance the HR profession.

SHRM members, who join our local chapter, have no dues, and local chapter only member dues are $60.

WCASHRM meets at 11:30 a.m. the last Tuesday of each month at CHI St. Vincent. Each meeting includes lunch, discussion of HR matters, and a guest speaker of HR interest. Guests are always welcome. (April and July are 8:00 a.m. meetings.)

For more information about WCASHRM, visit our website at www.wcashrm.org, email wcashrm@wcashrm.org.

When Work Works

Not Getting our Emails?

We email the Newsletter monthly and the meeting notices 2-4 times (Depending on your registration status). If you are a member and not receiving our emails, please add us to your email system's whitelist.

If you are having trouble receiving mail from your organization, a firewall or spam filtering service is likely the cause of the issue. However, you can white list several domains and IP addresses to ensure safe delivery. Depending on your e-mail service, you may be able to do this yourself, or you may need the assistance of your IT administrator. We recommend white listing the following:

Messages from the organization will usually have the same reply-to email address on them (visible if you start to reply to the message). Adding wcashrm@wcashrm.org to your address book or contact list can also help ensure delivery. Adding webmail@wcashrm.org to the address book or contact list can also help. These changes can be helpful if e-mails are being reported as bounced, too.
