FREE webinar with Cindy Kolb from Cross Gunter to talk about a multitude of employer issues related to COVID-19. HR Professionals have jumped into action in an effort to understand and comply with the legislative response to COVID-19. This session will address what is included in the FFCRA and the CARES Act and will address related topics. Attendees will learn about:
- Emergency sick leave and emergency FMLA under the FFCRA
- Expansion of unemployment benefits under the CARES Act
- How the pandemic raises issues with existing employment laws such as the ADA and the FLSA

Cindy Kolb is a director at Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon & Galchus, P.C., based in the firm’s Little Rock office. Her practice areas include employment law, insurance defense, and insurance coverage. She regularly speaks on employment law and HR-related topics for SHRM-affiliated and other industry groups around the state. Cindy served as the 2014 Chair of the Employment Law and Legislative Affairs (ELLA) Conference, hosted by the Arkansas Society for Human Resource Management State Council. She is also an active member of the Central Arkansas Human Resources Association (CAHRA) and is the President-Elect for 2020. She was the VP of Communications for 2019, CAHRA VP for Special Programs for 2017/2018, and was the 2017/2018 Chair of the CAHRA Managers Conference. She is co-chair of the 2020 Arkansas Bar Association’s Annual Meeting, co-chaired the 2018 Mid-Year Meeting, and served as the Chair of the Labor and Employment Section of the Arkansas Bar Association in 2012-2013. She is a member of the Judge Henry Woods Inn of Court. Cindy serves on the Board and Finance Committee of the Museum of Discovery. Cindy graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio and has been practicing law for 23 years.
