Topic:  Leadership and the Process of Change

In order to be successful in today's fast-paced business world, a company, its leaders and its employees must be ready to embrace change. Change is an ever-present force in our workplace.  As the old saying goes, the only thing constant in life is change.  Yet many organizations struggle with change.  Why is change so difficult and how can we make change more comfortable and successful?

The answer lies in understanding the nature of change and how it affects us.  The process you use to introduce change and monitor the transition will significantly affect your level of success.  In this workshop, you will learn change management techniques that will strengthen your leadership abilities and your organization's ongoing pursuit of improvement. We'll start by discussing the relationship between leadership and change, covering topics such as:

  • The role leaders play in change
  • How your view of change can affect others
  • The transition process that everyone must go through to accept and embrace change

We'll also delve into specific techniques you can implement to improve the change process, like how to:

  • Help employees look forward to the change
  • Properly set the stage for change in order to have a smooth transition
  • Deal with three types of opposition to change
  • Effectively monitor the impact of change

Change is coming!  Prepare for it now by attending this powerful workshop.  You, too, can be a successful "change agent."
