Designing an HR Budget 

Lonnie Jackson, Director of Henderson State University's Small Business Development Center will do a program on annual budgeting for HR Departments.

The three objectives will be:

1. Constructing a forecast/budget - HR and other small company expenses for the coming year
2. Why is it important for business to forecast and budget for HR expenses such as payroll, benefits, and training.
3. Primary elements of a budget for a business.

Lonnie Jackson has served as Center Director of the Henderson State University Small Business and Technology Development Center since July of 2000.  Jackson holds a B.S. in Management and a MBA from HSU.  Jackson is also a Certified Business Advisor.  Jackson has over five years of experience with a major retail company where he served in management roles.  Jackson and his wife have owned a small business in Arkadelphia since 1992.
