Kay Brockwell has her Bachelors degree in Journalism, History and Political Science from Memphis State University where she was the first Honors College graduate.    Kay was the former editor of The Evening Times in West Memphis, Arkansas and the Benton County Daily Record in Bentonville.  In addition, she spent 12 years as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Marion.  Currently, Kay is the Director of Business Retention and Recruitment for the Garland County Economic Development Corporation where she is responsible for retention, support, and expansion activities in the local industrial/business sector along with recruitment of new industry/business to Garland County.  She is a member of the Spa City Blues Society and is interested in history, baseball, and gourmet and international cookery.
